Privacy Policy
What we collect on buildbank.io, how we use it when you inquire about a build, and the choices you have.

Who we are
BuildBank builds custom software for real businesses at a fixed price. A $250 deposit locks your build slot while we build a first version so you can see our ability and the direction. After you review it, if you change your mind we refund the deposit in full; if you like where it is headed and want the full build, we review and finalize everything and the deposit comes off the total. This policy covers buildbank.io and related inquiry forms.
Information we collect
When you submit the contact form or email us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the project details you share (including how your business runs today and what you want built).
We automatically collect limited technical data when you use the site: browser type, device class, general location derived from IP (coarse, not precise), pages viewed, and referring site. This comes through our hosting and analytics providers.
How we use information
We use inquiry information to reply to you, evaluate whether a build is a good fit, send a confirmation email, quote a fixed price when appropriate, and deliver the project if we work together.
We use analytics data to understand traffic, fix issues, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.
After you submit the form, we send a confirmation to the address you provided and a notification to our team at getstarted@buildbank.io. Email is delivered through our email provider (Resend). You can reply to either message to continue the conversation.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. These tools may set cookies or similar technologies.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may limit some analytics; the site will still work for browsing and contacting us.
How we share information
We share data only with service providers that help us operate BuildBank, and only as needed for that purpose. Today that typically includes:
Hosting and delivery (Vercel), database storage for inquiries (Neon / Postgres), transactional email (Resend), and analytics (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics).
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of BuildBank or others.
Data retention
We keep inquiry and contact records as long as reasonably needed to respond, keep business records, and support ongoing or future client work. We may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed for those purposes.
Your choices
You do not have to submit personal information to browse the site. If you already shared contact details and want them updated or deleted, email us and we will handle the request subject to any legal or operational obligations.

Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information in transit and at rest (including HTTPS and access controls on our systems). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
BuildBank is aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
